The washing machine is the usual call. On a machine that has done its years it is the drain pump filter, the bearings or the door lock rather than a dead motor. Dryers get a workout here too, and a dryer that tumbles but stays cold is nearly always a thermal fuse or a heating element, both replaceable.
Older fridges round it out. When one starts running non-stop or dripping inside, it is usually a tired door seal or furred-up coils, not a write-off. Our note on a fridge that will not cool is a good place to start.
Quick checks before we come out
Older machines often have simple causes. If the washer will not drain, tip it back and clear the drain pump filter behind the flap at the bottom front, then check the hose behind the machine has not kinked against the wall. If the dryer runs cold, clear the lint filter and the outside vent, since a blocked vent trips the cut-out and looks exactly like a dead element. And if the fridge is running non-stop, pull it out and vacuum the coils at the back, because a thick coat of dust makes it work twice as hard for the same cooling. When the basics check out and it still plays up, that is our cue.

So I contacted this company and the very next day someone came out and found the problem with my machine. So a part had to be ordered and within a short period of time my machine was fixed.
