Tullimbar is one of the newer planned villages on the Albion Park side, built out on former rural land with its own town centre taking shape. Like Calderwood next door, it went up quickly, so the homes and their appliances share a vintage and tend to reach the same faults at the same time.

The oven is a frequent call once builder-package appliances pass the seven-year mark. A bake element burns out, a fan element goes open, or the thermostat drifts, and the oven either stops heating or cooks unevenly. It is nearly always a single part, and our oven troubleshooting notes run through the common causes.
Rangehoods in these open-plan kitchens see plenty of use, and a fan that has gone noisy or weak is usually the bearings or a tired motor. The fridge is the other regular, where a unit running constantly or not holding temperature often comes down to a door seal or blocked coils rather than the compressor.
A lot of these homes came with the same brands in the package, so we tend to carry Westinghouse and Electrolux parts on the van for this part of the district.
The quick checks
Since the appliances are still fairly new, a lot of the faults turn out small. On an oven that seems slow or uneven, check the shelf position and let it fully preheat before you judge it, and confirm the timer is not holding it off. On a rangehood that has gone weak, pull the metal filters and wash them, because grease-clogged filters choke the airflow long before the motor is actually failing. On a fridge that runs constantly, clear the coils at the back and make sure the door is sealing all the way round with no jars holding it ajar. When you have run through those and the fault stays put, that is when it is worth getting us out to it.

So I contacted this company and the very next day someone came out and found the problem with my machine. So a part had to be ordered and within a short period of time my machine was fixed.
