Jamberoo is the dairy-valley village inland from Kiama, tucked under the escarpment where the farms run up the valley toward the Minnamurra rainforest. The housing reflects it: older weatherboard farmhouses, homes on acreage, and a growing number of farmstay cottages. That is a very different job from a beachside unit.
What we get called to out here
Acreage homes almost always run a second fridge or a chest freezer, often both, out in the shed or the garage. A valley property doing its own meat or a big veggie garden leans on that freezer, so a freezer quietly failing in an outbuilding is the fault we see most in Jamberoo, usually not noticed until something starts to thaw. Half the time it is a door not sealing or a frosted-over evaporator rather than a dead unit.
The kitchen fridge in an older farmhouse tends to be an appliance that has earned a long life and is worth keeping going, which is most of what we do here. The everyday oven in these homes cops heavy use through winter, and a failed bake element or thermostat is a common, cheap repair.

So I contacted this company and the very next day someone came out and found the problem with my machine. So a part had to be ordered and within a short period of time my machine was fixed. This company is excellent to deal with and the repairer (Jye) was so nice and respectful of my house.
